Why a stone goes dull
None of this is neglect. It is water, weather and time doing what they do to granite and bronze.
Sprinklers
Cemetery irrigation runs hard water. Every cycle leaves a little more calcium on the face until the stone reads chalky grey instead of black.
Damp and shade
Florida damp grows moss, algae and lichen down in the letter grooves and along the edges, exactly where a mower never reaches.
Sun on paint
Enamel in the lettering chalks and lifts in the sun. The name is still cut into the stone, but it stops reading from the path.
Bronze and time
A bronze marker usually holds its finish about twenty five years before patina and tarnish take the shine out of the letters.

We confirm the date
We check the cemetery rules and text you the next open date and the price.
We clean the stone
Brushes, clean water and hand polish. Vases and the grass line get done too.
You get the photos
Photos of the finished marker land in your phone the same afternoon.
Roses, fresh or handmade
Fresh roses and mixed bouquets cut the morning of the visit, or handmade silk arrangements built to hold their colour through a Florida summer. Tell us the colour and we set them in the vase before we leave.
Order flowers on their own, or add them to a cleaning visit.
Bears and toys for the little ones
For a child's marker we bring a soft teddy bear, a small toy or a pinwheel, chosen with you and placed where the wind will not take it. Everything is photographed before we go.
Give us the birthday and we make sure it is there on the day.

Questions families ask
Do I need to be there?
No. Most families never meet us at the marker. We text you photographs when the work is finished, usually the same afternoon.
Is it safe for the stone?
Yes. Water, soft brushes and cleaners approved for cemetery grounds. No acid, no pressure washer, no wire wheels, nothing that eats stone.
How long does one marker take?
A flat marker is usually under an hour. Upright monuments, heavy bronze and re-highlight work take longer, and we tell you that before we book.
Do you need the cemetery permission?
We check the rules at each cemetery before the visit and work inside them. If a cemetery does not allow a service, we say so instead of guessing.
What if it rains?
Florida weather moves work by a day either side. We text you the new date, and nothing is charged for a visit that did not happen.
How often should a marker be cleaned?
Once a year keeps a stone from ever getting bad. Twice a year is better under heavy shade or directly in a sprinkler line.
Can you put flowers out for a birthday?
Yes. Fresh roses, a mixed bouquet or handmade silk, and for a child a bear or a small toy. We set them before we leave and photograph them.
How do I pay?
After the work, once you have seen the photographs. There is no deposit, and a flag is placed for veterans at no extra charge.
