What the work involves

Fresh flowers in a Florida July are a short visit. Between the heat, the afternoon storms and the sprinklers, a bouquet that looks right on Saturday can look neglected by Wednesday, which is the opposite of what anyone wanted.

Handmade silk arrangements are the answer for a marker that is visited a few times a year rather than a few times a month. They are assembled by hand in the colours you choose, weighted and set so they stay put in wind, and they hold their colour for months rather than days.

Many families use both. Handmade arrangements sit at the marker year round, and fresh roses go out for the birthday and the anniversary.

Questions families ask

How long do they last outdoors?

Months rather than days, though nothing outdoors in Florida lasts forever. We will tell you when one is starting to look tired if we are out at the marker for other work.

Can you copy an arrangement we had before?

Send a photograph with the request. If we can get close we will, and if we cannot we will say so before you commit.

Are these allowed at every cemetery?

Most allow them, some restrict height or placement on flat marker sections. We check before the visit.
